How often should I wear my boots?
While you can wear your boots as often as you’d like, we don’t recommend you wear them for multiple days in a row. Since your feet will likely leave quite a bit of moisture in your boots, alternating days will allow them to dry properly.
Should I condition or polish my boots?
We suggest you condition your boots every few months. Be sure to use a water-based conditioner, instead of an oil-based conditioner to protect the color of the leather. You may also polish your boots with a neutral wax-based polish. Both conditioning and polishing can extend the longevity of your boots.
Can I resole my boots?
Since our boots are made with the Goodyear Welt method of construction, they can be resoled. Once you wear through the leather outsole, you can repair or replace the outsole.
We recommend a “half sole” resole as it’s more affordable than a complete outsole rebuild. Unfortunately, Mezcalero does not currently offer resoling services.
